On-Location Corporate Photography for Yohana in Palo Alto | Japanese Magazine Feature Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph Yohana, a company based in Palo Alto, California, for a feature in a Japanese magazine. It was a wonderful corporate photography assignment that combined environmental portraits, executive photography, and images of the company’s workplace and team. For this shoot, I traveled directly to Yohana’s office to photograph the company interior, CEO, and coworkers in their working environment. Since the images were being created for a Japanese magazine, it was important to capture not only professional portraits but also the personality, culture, and atmosphere of the company. Photographing a Company in Its Own Environment One of my favorite parts of corporate photography is photographing people where they actually work. Rather than bringing everyone into a photography studio, an on-location corporate photoshoot allows the images to tell a more complete story. The office environment becomes part of the photograph, helping viewers understand the company’s culture and giving the images a more authentic editorial feel. For this Palo Alto photoshoot, I photographed a variety of images throughout the office, including environmental photographs, portraits of the CEO, and team photos.
