I had an opportunity to photograph “Mochi-Making-Party” at Sakura Gakuen in Pleasanton. Sakura Gakuen is a Japanese Language School for children and my son just started taking classes here. It’s challenging to teach kids Japanese culture when you live in U.S but after attending this Mochi-Making Party, I thought Sakura Gakuen is a wonderful place to learn not only language but also culture. I’m so excited that my son goes to this school and it was lots of fun to photograph this special event!
