On-Location Corporate Photography for Yohana in Palo Alto | Japanese Magazine Feature

On-Location Corporate Photography for Yohana in Palo Alto | Japanese Magazine Feature Recently, I had the opportunity to photograph Yohana, a company based in Palo Alto, California, for a feature in a Japanese magazine. It was a wonderful corporate photography assignment that combined environmental portraits, executive photography, and images of the company’s workplace and team. For this shoot, I traveled directly to Yohana’s office to photograph the company interior, CEO, and coworkers in their working environment. Since the images were being created for a Japanese magazine, it was important to capture not only professional portraits but also the personality, culture, and atmosphere of the company. I’ve had the incredible honor of photographing Izzy since she was just three years old. Watching her grow from a playful, bright-eyed child into a confident, beautiful young woman ready to graduate from San Ramon Valley High School made this session deeply emotional and truly special. These are the moments that remind me why I love what I do. A Full-Circle Moment Senior sessions are always meaningful, but this one felt like a full-circle milestone. From her early childhood portraits to this major life transition, capturing Izzy’s journey has been an unforgettable experience. There’s something so powerful about documenting not just a single moment—but years of memories leading up to it. Multiple Outfits, Multiple Looks Izzy wanted a variety of styles to reflect her personality, and she absolutely delivered. We planned multiple outfits to create different looks throughout the session. Each outfit brought out a different side of her, giving her a diverse gallery of images that truly represent who she is at this exciting stage of life. Featuring Her First Car: A Mini Cooper One of the most personal and fun elements of this shoot was including Izzy’s very first car—her Mini Cooper. Adding her car to the session made the experience even more meaningful and unique. It’s such a huge part of…
