My Fall & Holiday mini sessions sell out fast, so this year I’ve opened up more dates, including weekends because I adore my new and repeat clients who wait all year for this. These shorter sessions are perfect for busy families who are ready to update their family portraits or create stunning 2018 Holiday Cards.
Holiday Family Mini Sessions will be held here in beautiful East Bay, South Bay and San Francisco, we have so much to choose from that there is surely something that fits your family style, urban, woods, garden, fall leaves, etc! It is very important to me that clients have a printed memory on their wall to enjoy and cherish for many years, therefore, my holiday mini includes professional prints! Professional prints make a great gift for grandparents and family members as well!

Due to time constraints, mini-sessions are not available for babies under 4 months old or familiy larger than 5. Please schedule a regular family session for newborn and large family/ extended family portraits. If you would like to do an outfit change, studio ” modern & classic” session, customized session, Napa, Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco Skyline, session at your home, etc, please schedule a regular Family Session! At Holiday Mini session, I prioritize getting traditional, everyone looking at the camera and smiling shots, as well as each combination of family members. If everyone is in a good mood and we get those all right away, we move onto candids and more natural moments, which is what I am known for! If your child is slow to warm, or has a hard time staying still for the traditional shots, since those are the priority, we may not get a chance to get candid shots. Mini is only 25 minute long, if your child is super camera shy, if you have multiple children under 3 years old, please consider scheduling a regular session for longer session time and flexibility!

Turn around time & Products
You will receive your private online gallery in 1-2 weeks, an online gallery is hosted for 2 weeks and you will receive your prints order in 1-2 weeks. Purchased Digital files will be available to download in 1-2 business days after the order is received.
**Digital Holiday Card is a web-sized digital card (not recommended for printing) for you to share on Christmas by email / social media. I will customize your card with your favorite image from purchased digital files with below overlay (I will have new ones, too!). Aren’t they super cute? This digital holiday card has been SO POPULAR and I see them posted all over on social media on Christmas day! Your customized digital card will be e-mailed to you in the first week of December for you to share !
**Custom Mobile App is a digital photo album that you can take with you on the go and easily let you share your beautiful photos with your friends and family! Purchased digital files will be added to the mobile app. You can download your Mobile App to your phone and tablet! It’s really cute and my clients LOVE it!
**Online card ordering gallery through minted.com. Minted.com is an online card printing site and offers beautiful and high-quality holiday cards. Your purchased digital files will be uploaded to minted.com website by me for your convenience! All you have to do is pick your favorite design and your holiday cards are done. How easy is that??
*Professional Prints starts from $45 ~. Digital file Package starts from $325~. ( 10 for $350, 15 for $395~). All digital files are high resolution, individually retouched and ready to share with friends and family!

Payment of session fee is due upon booking to secure your spot. Deposit is non-refundable should you cancel but is it transferable to another date you wish to amend your booking. $25 fee will apply for rescheduling within 10 days of session date. In the event of adverse weather, sessions will be rescheduled to nearest available date. You will receive an email with exact meeting location 3 days before your session date. Please add my email address, photo@aikacardin.com to your address book/ contact list so that my email will go to your inbox not junk/ spam folder. If you didn’t receive email confirmation after booking is completed, please check your junk/spam folder.
