I can’t believe it has been a year since I photographed O!   We did a holiday session together last December and I had lots of fun chasing him around in the park this time, too! Their holiday card came out so beautiful and they loved it!   I just love watching kids grow through my lens 😉  Happy Holidays!

Isn’t she just precious?  Alexa came to my studio for her newborn portraits.   Mom requested pink background to match with her room and also red theme for holiday card.  But  since mom really loved this first portraits of Alexa with her eyes open so she chose this one for a birth announcement/holiday card.   I usually try to put baby in sleep so that I can pose baby but when she/he is awake, I get attention to look at camera to capture these beautiful eyes 😉  Aren’t they just beautiful?  She signed up for my baby collection and I’m excited to see her again in 6 months next!

I met S family back in October at my photo booth at Munchkin Masquerade Parade and I was so excited to photograph them again!  We played with leaves, peek-a-boo, running around, etc.  This park has been my favorite for this holiday season.   Lots of fall colors and I just love these BIG leaves.  I think they look so cute with kids!!!   Thank you S family for letting me capture these special moments of your family!

I’ve been catching up on my blog post this week and I still got so many to go…. but I thought I would share some pictures from my trip in Hawaii since I got so many compliments on my holiday cards which I used some of these photos 😉

We visited Hawaii in September to cerebrate our 5th wedding anniversary 😉  We got married in Kahala, Oahu in 2006 and we always talked about going back to Hawaii for anniversary for long time and I’m so glad we did it!!   This time we stayed in Princeville, Kauai and it was just amazing.  It was perfect for my 2 and half years old son, Leo. We wanted something relaxing and slow not like busy Waikiki.  Lots of beach time, sunset cruise, hiking, luau and nice drive.  And the best decision I made was to hire photographer so that I can be in pictures this time 😉   Jennifer of Island Echoes Photography was so fun to work with and I’m so happy with all pictures!  I highly recommend her if you are planning to visit Kauai.    I also asked her to take pictures of me with my camera because I wanted to update my profile pictures and I really do love these 😉  I’m so happy when I have my camera with me and taking pictures of beautiful scenery and people.  Can’t wait to go back to Hawaii again!

Lucia came to my studio for her newborn session when she was 3 weeks old..  Mom wanted to do some portraits outside to capture fall color so we met at the park first for family portraits then came to studio.   It took some time to put her in sleep then we got these beautiful newborn portraits with red flower headband which was perfect for their birth announcement /holiday card 😉   Lucia signed up for my “baby collection” so I’m so excited to photograph her again when she is around 6  and 12 months old!

W family, they are one of my very fist family I photographed when I started my business last year and I was so excited to photograph them again this year for their holiday portraits.  After the session, Dad told me that he would like to order canvas collage for Christmas as a surprise gifts to mom.    As mom is a good friend of mine, it was so hard to keep it secret!!  Now after couple days after Christmas, I went over their house and saw the collage beautiful displayed in their living room 😉  Mom told me how much she loved having family portraits up on their wall as they never had any before.   This is the best part of my job.  Seeing client’s happy face when they talk about wall portraits I created for them 😉  Love it!

What a fun time we had together!  I love a session in Fall/Winter.  I love all beautiful colors in background.  Mom told me that they haven’t done any family photo session for a few years so I really wanted to create a beautiful family portrait that they can display in their house and also to send out to their friends and family for Christmas card and we got lots of fun shots! I can’t wait to see these canvases displayed in their house 😉    Thank you for a fun morning, E family!
