Archive for 'milestone session'

Last year, when I photographed Serena for her 3 years old portraits, she told me to call her ” Cinderella”, this year, she wanted me to call her ” princess”.  I wonder what she wants me to call her next year!!   We met at Japanese Tea Garden in San Francisco and it was just perfect!  She looked like a ” princess” in her pink dress and she looked so beautiful! We did a couple outfit change through out the session and we kept switching location in the park.   We created beautiful portraits together and it will be another keep sake album for her family members.    Thank you for a beautiful session!

She is dreaming about her princess castle or strawberry cake??

Love this one! it’s like a page from some fairy tale story book…. !

Emiri, she is one of the cutest baby I’ve ever photographed!  I know Emiri’s mom for more than 6 years now.  We became friends when we both lived in New York City and we had so much fun together, traveling, shopping, dining, concerts, etc, everything NYC offers, we did it together. What a great memories!   Time flies by and now I have almost 4years old son and she just welcomed her first baby girl, last December.   I was so excited to photograph Emiri’s 3 months old portraits.  First we headed to Koishikawa Kourakuen in Tokyo for cherry blossom.  At age 3 months old, there are lots of break during the session, feeding, changing,  and sometime baby falling asleep… 😉  Those are all cute and precious moments and I’m here to capture all of them 😉    We were able to create sweet portraits with cherry blossoms and more at home.   I’ll be photographing Emiri throughout this year and can’t wait for a next session.  Next one is when she is sitting up on her own!   I love the Spring in Tokyo!

One of my favorite!

This one is displayed in her living room!  Love this one!

So sweet….

Mom requested to photograph while she is feeding.  This is such a special moments and I wish I have pictures like this with my son!!!

Davin was one of the most calm 10days old I’ve ever seen!  Mom and Dad requested to do newborn session outside at the park, they wanted ” nature look”.   So we met at one of my favorite park in Concord and we were also so lucky to have gorgeous warm Fall weather!  I DO LOVE sooting outside, but shooting newborn outside could be little difficult as you want to keep newborn warm as much a possible to keep him happy!  Davin did so well throughout the session and we were able to try lots of fun props mom brought in 😉  I love all images and hard to pick a favorite from this session…  😉  Thank you for letting me capture Davin’s special time of his life. Enjoy the pictures!!

So cozy….

This mom and dad’s profession, so cool, isn, it?

Little turtle!!! How adorable is this?

So handsome!

Harper turned ONE!  One is such a cute age to photograph ♥ I love her chunky legs and cheek 😉 She was SO happy and smily throughout the session. Mom brought this white chair as a prop. this is a chair mom used when she was a baby so she wanted a portrait of Harper in this special chair. I love it when client’s bring special item to the session.  Harper looked so cute in the chair with her yellow dress.  Her big sister, Olivia LOVED to pose for a camera 😉  I can’t wait to see these fun portraits displayed in their house!   Enjoy the pictures!!

Look at this chunky leg, I love it!!

I had the pleasure of meeting D family for maternity session a few months ago and I was so excited to see them again for their little girl’s newborn session this time!  I LOVE the way how her big brother was looking at her, the proud face of being a big brother and he was so sweet and gentle with his baby sister.  What a beautiful family of five.  I can’t wait to document next milestone of Claire at 6 months old!    Enjoy the pictures !

This picture is going up on her nursery.

This session was given by mom’s sister as a surprise gift to this family!  What a thoughtful gift!   Their little one was turning one this Summer and sister told me that they didn’t have any family portraits as family of 5, yet and she thought it would be a nice gift 😉  And I made sure I got lots of pictures of the youngest one!  Mom requested ” Summer” look so I chose this one of my favorite location in San Ramon to do their family portraits.  Kids LOVED exploring in nature and I LOVED chasing after them, too.  what a fun time we had together!  Lots of smile, bubble, splashing, exploring 😉  I can’t wait to see these images displayed in their house!  It’s going to look so beautiful with metal print collage!   Enjoy the pictures, V family!!

Look who is turning one!  Lilly’s mom contacted me to do Lilly’s photo session to create her 1st Birthday party invitation.  She wanted to go with “ladybug” theme!  How cute is she in red polka dots outfit with some Stella & Dot jewelry?  We had so much fun together and I love how her invitation came all together!  Have  a wonderful 1st birthday party and looking forward to seeing you again for holiday family session next month!!

Lilly’s newborn portrait, last October… wow, time flies!

Lilly came to visit my Halloween booth when she was 2 weeks old in her ladybug outfit 😉

Customized 1st Birthday party invitation.  isn’t this sooooo cute?  ( I took out contact info for privacy reason. )

Back of the card with letter O-N-E !

Look at this beautiful smile ♥ I can’t believe Lila is 6 months old already!!  It seems like it was only a few weeks ago when we did her newborn portrait at my studio.  Lila has 2 older siblings and we all had so much fun at the park!  They are so sweet with their little sister  and I love the one that 3 kids are looking water.   Mom requested a session at the beach and this 9th street park in Benicia was just  a perfect location for Lila’s 6 months old portraits.  Can’t wait for her 1 year old session, it will be another cute one!  Enjoy the pictures!!
